Amir Vahedi was born in Tehran, Iran in 1961 and now lives in Sherman
Oaks, California. Ben Affleck can give some of the credit for his win
at the 2004 California State Poker Championship to Amir Vahedi since
he's the guy Jennifer Lopez hired to give Ben poker lessons when they
were still exchanging gifts and not divorce papers. Vahedi's early
years were spent in the Iranian army fighting in the Iran-Iraq war,

but mostly ups with career earnings close to 2 million dollars.
