Barry Greenstein was born in Chicago on December 30, 1954 and has been
playing poker since 1966. Greenstein was raised in Chicago but now
resides in Rancho Palos Verdes, California and single with six
children. Greenstein has a PhD in mathematics and worked for Symantec
before retiring at age 36 to play poker full-time. One thing that is
most unique about Barry Greenstein is that he donates all of his
tournament winnings to charity, mainly Children, Inc. A true modern day
"Robin Hood", Barry's seven digit contributions have undoubtedly
changed the lives of numerous people all over the world, setting an
example of kindness that anyone has to admire.

has been a very successful cash game player for many years, frequenting
the Hustler Casino's $1,500/ $3,000 stud game on the weekends and a
$4,000/ $8000 mixed game when available. Although Barry makes no profit
off his tournament play, he still enters more than forty tournaments a
year for the benefit of his charities. Barry's tournament success in
the past few years include: 1st place in Larry Flynt's One million
dollar one-table stud event, a 2004 WSOP bracelet for no limit deuce to
seven lowball, 1st place in The Fifth Annual Jack Binion World Poker
Open worth over $1.2 million, and 1st place in the 2004 Bellagio
