Barry Shulman was born on May 8th, 1946 in Seattle, Washington and now
lives in Las Vegas, Nevada. Barry started playing poker in 1956 took a
20-year break from the game to work as a real estate developer. Barry
now plays between 50 and 100 tournaments a year but still considers
himself a businessman first and a poker player second. Barry Shulman is
well known for being the publisher of Cardplayer magazine, which he
bought back in 2000. Barry now runs the magazine and website along with
his son, Jeff, who also happens to be a successful poker player to no
surprise. Barry and Jeff are working hard at keeping the magazine up to
date and consistently providing poker players with quality material
written by their staff of poker professionals.

$1.2 million and he has one WSOP gold bracelet to his name. Barry won
the bracelet in the 2001 WSOP Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo Split event worth
