David Plastik was born in Queens, New York in 1964 and graduated the
University of Hartford before finally ending up in Las Vegas, Nevada.
David worked as a freelance photographer in his teens and twenties,
traveling the country following rock and roll bands and selling the
pictures to magazines. Eventually, Plastik moved to Los Angeles and
worked as a sales representative for his dad's business. At the same
time David took up poker, playing in the local Commerce Casino, and was
successful right from the start. Around 1997, David started playing in
tournaments and took to them as a way to satisfy his competitive
nature. Plastik is very emotional at the tables, unable to restrain his
excitement when he wins or his anguish when he looses.
David
Plastik has career tournament poker winnings totaling around $580,000
