Michael Mizrachi

Michael Mizrachi was born on January 5th, 1981 in Miami, Florida and still resides in Florida with his wife and child. Although Mizrachi is only 24 years old, he began playing poker at age 13 and has quickly made a name for himself in the online and live tournament scenes. The recent purchase of a tour bus has made it possible for Michael to keep his family by his side while traveling between tournaments. Mizrachi is yet another example of the breed of young poker players that are storming the tournament world right now when the prize money is at its best - making more money in a few victories than players from ten years ago could have hoped for in their whole career.

Mizrachi has had over a dozen money finishes in the past year. Mizrachi took first place in the Five-Diamond World Poker Classic in December of 2004 collecting roughly $273,000 in prize money. Michael has had a fantastic start in 2005 with three money finishes on the WPT including - 5th place in The Sixth Annual Jack Binion World Poker Open Championship Event worth $288,241, 1st place in the L.A. Poker Classic Championship event worth $1,859,909, and 11th place in the Third Annual Five-Star World Poker Classic 25k WPT Championship worth $94,355. Michael credits some of his success to his online play for teaching him how to play against different types of players - start improving your overall game, sign up now at Full Tilt Poker
