Rafe Furst, WSOP Pot-Limit Holdem bracelet winner, Roshambo Champion, CRPF Board Member, Tiltboy and all-around great guy.
Some people might remember Rafe's appearance at the 2003 WSOP main event, where he was unlucky enough to bust out first. Giving him the nick-name Rafe "Furst Out." Although Rafe is a well respected poker player and has done well in other events such as first in the Ultimate Poker Challenge's $1500 No-Limit Holdem event and 4 cashes at the 2005 WSOP he was fully vindicated at this year's World Series of Poker. Rafe took down over 1100 other players to win the biggest Pot-Limit Holdem event in WSOP history, a bracelet and almost $350,000 in cash.
As mentioned above, Rafe is a master at other games too. Many Tourney.com team members have lost money to Rafe in Roshambo. Only a few have lived to tell the tale. Our only advice is don't go Rock on the first throw.Rafe gives his time and a percentage of all poker winnings to the Cancer Research and Prevention Foundation. He and Phil Gordon have started an initiative called Bad Beat on Cancer where poker players are encouraged to donate at least 1% of their winnings to the cause.
Rafe plays poker online exclusively at Full Tilt Poker. Simply click on one of our banners to go to Full Tilt and play with Rafe. Tell him we sent you and told you he wears women's clothing from time to time just to play poker...
