Tuan Le

Tuan Le was born in Paris, France in 1978 and grew up in Kansas City then eventually Los Angeles, CA. Tuan Le went to school at Cal State- Northridge and studied finance. Tuan Le has not been playing poker professionally for very long but he and his brother, Nam Le (age 24), are both full-time high-stakes pros making names for themselves very quickly. Tuan has developed a reputation as one of today's most aggressive No Limit players, able to play any hand with an insane fearlessness comparable to the likes of Gus Hansen. Tuan Le is an exciting young player to watch play the game of No Limit, and his recent final table appearances have provided ample opportunity to do just that.

Tuan Le has exploded onto the tournament scene, achieving more in a shorter period of time then most tournament players could ever dream of. In 2003 and 2004, Tuan had five money finishes earning him roughly 51k in prize money, but that doesn't even register when compared to his last two WPT appearances. Tuan Le right now is the WPT's all-time money leader with two 1st place finishes in November 2004 (World Poker Finals, Foxwoods) and April 2005 (Five Star World Poker Classic, 25k buy-in) totaling and incredible $4,405,738 in prize money. Tuan gives credit for his most of his success to his poker mentor, Barry Greenstein, for teaching him about tournament poker, and for making available an early copy of Greenstein's book Ace on the River, available soon on this site in the Poker Store
